Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Learn Apple ("we", "us") is the trading name of Learn Apple Language Academy, a proprietary micro enterprise registered under Udyam (MSME), Government of India (Reg. No. UDYAM-TN-02-0492076). We provide online spoken English, communication and personality development coaching for women, run by Jhansi D Mohan from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we handle and how we protect it. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information you share with us
- Consultation booking form: the form on our website does not store anything on our website. When you tap the button, it opens WhatsApp with the details you typed (name, WhatsApp number, city, preferred time, language and course). The details reach us only if you choose to send that WhatsApp message.
- WhatsApp messages and calls: when you contact us, we receive your name, phone number and anything you choose to tell us.
- Students: for enrolled students we keep basic records such as name, contact number, course, group, attendance and fee payments.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and book your free consultation.
- To run your classes: schedules, class links, practice messages, feedback and certificates.
- To send course updates or offers on WhatsApp. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except as described in this policy or when required by law.
3. Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit our website, which pages they view, which device and browser they use, their approximate location (city or country) and how they found us (for example, Google search or Facebook). Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
We also count clicks on our WhatsApp and call buttons and booking-form submissions, so we know which of our marketing works. No names, phone numbers or messages are sent to Google.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's official opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google's own use of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
4. Online classes
- Classes run on Google Meet or Zoom, and practice happens on WhatsApp. These services have their own privacy policies.
- Class recordings, if made, are shared only with students of that group, for revision.
- We will never post your photo, video, voice or feedback on our website or social media without your written permission (a WhatsApp message is enough).
5. Payments
Fees are paid by UPI or a payment link through your own bank or payment app. We receive only the payment confirmation (name, amount, date and reference). We never ask for, see or store your card details, UPI PIN or banking passwords. Learn Apple will never ask for your OTP or PIN.
6. How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment: deleted within 12 months, or sooner on request.
- Student records: kept while you are studying with us and for up to 3 years afterwards (for certificates and accounts), then deleted.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it (except records we must keep by law, such as payment records);
- stop sending you messages or offers.
Just send a WhatsApp message to +91 94456 18342 or an email to jhansi@learnapple.in. We will respond within 7 days.
8. Age
Our courses are for adults (18 years and above). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
